Republican Candidate for Cape May County Sheriff

Gary Schaffer is seeking the office of Sheriff for Cape May County as the Republican Candidate. He has been actively involved in the Cape May County law enforcement field for 35 years. This has given him the ability to see, from a very unique perspective, the Cape May County law enforcement community grow over this time. Gary retired from the Ocean City Police Department after serving over 25 years, and is currently in his 10th year as the Director of the Cape May County Public Safety Training Center. Gary has devoted his energy, knowledge, and work ethic to make these organizations the finest around.

The next few years will bring some necessary changes to the Cape May County Sheriff's Office and the Cape May County Correctional Center. It takes a strong leader and administrator to make the right choices to advance any organization. Gary has demonstrated he has the work ethic, the honesty, integrity, dependability, knowledge, skills, and ability to manage and lead these changes.
